Last week, prof. Ram went to present a paper at the IEOM (International operations and engineering management) conference in Toronto. The project was quite well received and interesting discussions followed, especially on how to keep the project going after it ends and how it can really benefit farmers. Unfortunately, a power failure led to the lights falling out so prof. Ram had to give his presentation without the slides and in almost dark. Nevertheless, given the good feedback, it was a good experience.
